Thanks to extensive customizations, the cheese dairy now uses SAP Business One as a perfectly tailored industry solution. A custom-developed mobile app digitizes warehouse and production processes and enables error-free, real-time data capture. In addition, the system now also maps recipes, mixtures, and production steps in detail—a major advantage for quality and process reliability.
Maintenance has also been fully digitalized: Maintenance schedules, electronic checklists and automatic reminders ensure fewer breakdowns and greater plant availability. Production proposal lists make planning easier and show what quantities are required at all times. In addition, receipts are automatically sent by email, making processes faster and more efficient. Another milestone is the direct connection to scales via the Integration Framework – weights are automatically transferred to SAP, which reduces manual entries and significantly improves data quality.
