How a premium manufacturer took its manufacturing processes to the next level through ERP integration
Feuerring GmbH stands for design, precision and passion for open fires. Made in Switzerland, appreciated worldwide: the striking stainless steel barbecues are considered design objects and are an expression of true craftsmanship. However, as the company grew – more orders, more variants, higher demands – traditional processes reached their limits.
The goal: preserve craftsmanship, digitize processes.
The challenge was to find a structure that suited the Feuerring. The IT department struggled with slow, unreliable data and cumbersome processes, which impacted the efficiency of the entire operation. There was no central overview of the documents and their links, which made searching for specific information time-consuming and frustrating. SAP Business One fundamentally changed this.

The challenge: when manufacturing scales up
Production, purchasing, warehouse, shipping – many processes at Feuerring had grown historically, but were barely networked. The consequence: high costs, little transparency, too many manual steps. At the same time, the product portfolio was becoming more diverse and demand more international. Feuerring wanted to grow – but without compromising on quality, service and identity.
Together with ANG, Feuerring decided to introduce SAP Business One, specially tailored to the needs of a manufacturing company. The aim was not to change the company – but to strengthen it: through clearer processes, a better overview and IT that thinks for itself. Parts lists, warehouse management, purchasing, order processing – everything was linked together. Without frills, but with effect.
The result: less paper, less friction, more time for the essentials.
