But as the success grew, so did the challenges: A fragmented system environment, a lack of interfaces between merchandise management and sales, as well as increasing requirements in after-sales and fleet management called for a future-proof solution.

Thanks to SAP Business One, the company’s wide range of activities from trading, import-export business, vehicle construction, sharing and fleet management to service can be fully mapped in the ERP system. The complex business processes and workflows are thus set up in a clearer and more structured way and managed more efficiently.

Before the changeover, many processes ran in isolation: Sales, warehouse, accounting, customer service – each team worked with its own tools or Excel sheets. Product and price structures were difficult to maintain, reports had to be created manually and traceability in spare parts management was only possible to a limited extent. For a company that supplies customers throughout Europe with efficient fleet solutions, this was not sustainable in the long term.

Together with ANG, ETRIX implemented SAP Business One – an ERP system specially developed for fast-growing trading and service companies like ETRIX. The implementation was iterative and hands-on – with clear prioritization and close collaboration between the teams.
