ANG Germany x WUD – Kickoff
Kicking things off with pizza, pasta, and good conversation
It all kicked off the night before with a group dinner at L’Osteria Dachcafé, which offers a view of Giessen. Over pizza, pasta, and an aperitivo, we had our first conversations, laughed a lot, and got to know each other in a relaxed atmosphere.
That quickly broke the ice, and we were ready for the second day.
Who's actually behind this?
The next morning, we started with breakfast together before kicking off the program with a special icebreaker: “Expert Bingo” called for curiosity and plenty of willingness to chat. Who has worked on more
than 20 SAP projects? Who loves karaoke? And who has ever saved a go-live?
The whole event was supported by our People Wall featuring personal profile cards. This allowed us to directly connect faces, names,
, and a few personal details
and learn even more about the people.
Working Together and Learning from One Another
After getting to know one another, the participants moved on to a professional exchange. The teams worked together, shared their experiences, and in the process gained a better understanding of each other’s areas of work.
After a lunch of fresh bowls and curries, things finally became even more concrete: In the relevant departments, the focus was on identifying skills, categorizing experiences, and sharing knowledge with one another. Using the skills map , the teams were able to document what expertise was already available, where specific areas of experience lay, and which topics could be particularly interesting to discuss in the future.
Two days filled with new faces, good conversations, and shared ideas —a successful kickoff for our continued collaboration!
