Ecomatic AG, based in EnnetbĂĽrgen, has been supplying companies in central Switzerland and neighboring cantons with modern hot and cold drinks and food vending machines for almost 50 years. As a successful Swiss SME, Ecomatic attaches particular importance to user-friendly appliances, high-quality products “Made in Switzerland” and excellent service.
With a stock of around 1,500 vending machines, efficient administration is essential. The vending machines are regularly serviced and looked after by our own staff, with hygiene and product quality taking top priority. These services require competent customer relationship management. Ecomatic AG must always be in control of which vending machines need to be refilled with which products, which products need to be replaced and when maintenance work needs to be carried out. Organization and timing are therefore crucial. Due to Ecomatic’s growth in recent years, the company was looking for software that would provide optimal support for these challenges. In order to meet the increasing requirements for efficient vending machine management, Ecomatic AG was looking for a scalable and future-proof solution – and found it in SAP Business One in combination with the specialized add-on 4Vending. The solution combines the strengths of a powerful ERP system with the functions of modern vending machine management software.
With 4Vending, the flow of goods and money, product movements and stock levels can be managed easily and efficiently. The relevant data is read directly from the vending machines via barcodes – including sales figures, counter readings and fault messages. This provides a real-time overview and creates the basis for targeted decisions and optimized processes.
