Successful go-live at Ensinger GmbH

Ensinger GmbH is a global leader in the development and production of modern high-performance plastics. Go-ahead was given in July 2024

The challenge at Ensinger Sintimid GmbH in Austria

In July 2024, exactly 30 years after the Austrian subsidiary Ensinger Sintimid GmbH was founded, the go-ahead was given for the new SAP Business One ERP system. Even at the start of the project, some experienced colleagues at ANG were clear: “This won’t be an easy ride”. Ensinger ‘s focus was not only on the production and trade of very different products, such as semi-finished products, compounds, sintered plastics and PI powder, but three different divisions, some with very complex & completely different processes, also had to be mapped in the new system.

Along the way, concepts were created and discarded, prototypes and test scenarios were built and changed again – to put it mildly: “Heads were spinning”. Despite all the extra work and a few setbacks, the team never lost their enthusiasm and always remained positive and determined. In the end, all the practicing had paid off and there were no problems at the go-live.
