Yesterday was finally the day: the ANG Germany team met up at Legendary Lasertag in Giessen and experienced an evening that had everything. Energy, chaos, team spirit and lots of shared laughter. As soon as we entered the arena, it was clear that this evening would be anything but quiet.
We competed against each other or with each other in several rounds. We ran, aimed, surprised, hit and just as often completely missed. The arena challenged us, but above all it brought us together. IT, marketing, development and sales suddenly found themselves no longer at desks or in calls, but in the middle of the black light. This showed just how different our playing styles really are. While some first needed a tactical analysis of the arena, others sprinted off without even knowing where their own team stood. Some sneaked around the corners like secret agents, while others collected steps for the clock rather than points for the team. It was precisely this mix that made the evening so fun and lively.
Between rounds, we sat down together, ate pizza and discussed the best (and most embarrassing) moves from the previous round. These breaks were almost as enjoyable as the action itself. We analyzed, cheered and discussed who had really landed the legendary hit of the evening.
Of course, there was also a little internal competition. After each round, we looked to see who had scored the most points and whether their score was really as good as they had advertised in advance. And yes, some presented their results with astonishing creativity.
At the end, everyone was really exhausted, but at least as much in a good mood. The evening showed that you can not only work on projects together, but also just dive in, laugh and get to know each other from a completely different angle.
A really successful team event that definitely makes you want more.
