SAP Business One for the entire Rinco organization

Implementation in 15 locations completed after 2 years

RINCO ULTRASONICS, based in Romanshorn, Switzerland, specializes in ultrasonic welding and ultrasonic cutting. In the space of around 40 years, the family business has grown into a leading global company with 15 branches. New requirements have arisen with regard to the processes and the system in the company.

As of 01.07.2024, we were able to introduce SAP Business One at Rinco Italy, Malaysia, India, Shanghai and Hong Kong. This means that after two years of active project phase for Rinco Ultrasonic, the implementation phase has been completed with all 15 locations. The entire Rinco organization is now working with SAP Business One, which means the achievement of a major milestone for the company.

The project manager was Lisa Schädler, assisted by Zhiwen Jin, Alex Herbst, Erika Garcia, Markus Kistler and Damian Schwegler as well as the support team for the layout creation. The SAP systems are located in Switzerland. Rolf Walker supervised the installation here. The necessary interfaces were successfully implemented by the development team. The on-site training sessions in Asia, led by Lisa Schädler, were challenging but successful.

Further projects are already in the starting blocks

For the Rinco Ultrasonic Group, a phase 2 with further projects is still pending, which includes Group reporting with SAP Business One Analystics and the rollouts of ELO and Yokoy in all countries.
