ANG at the Make-To-Order Days 2026 in Stuttgart

Digitalization in procurement as the key to transparency and growth

With the Make-To-Order Days 2026 in Stuttgart, a new trade fair has been launched that is aimed specifically at buyers, procurement experts and manufacturing companies. The focus is on precision parts, contract manufacturing and machining – precisely the areas in which efficient and transparent purchasing processes are crucial.
The event brings together decision-makers, buyers and industry experts and sees itself as a marketplace for exchange between companies looking for solutions and suppliers presenting their manufacturing expertise.
Formats such as specialist presentations, trade fair discussions and the accompanying forum offer participants the opportunity to exchange views on current developments and learn about practical solutions.
A key topic at the trade fair was the question of how companies can future-proof their purchasing processes. In addition to traditional digitalization, the combination of ERP and artificial intelligence is increasingly coming into focus.

Highlight: Clear the stage for Sabrina Wetz

A special highlight of the MTO Days was the presentation by our colleague Sabrina Wetz. Under the title “Excel was yesterday – full transparency in purchasing & procurement for profitable growth” she showed how companies can break new ground in procurement with artificial intelligence and digital processes.

This is because many companies still work with manual processes and Excel-based workflows in purchasing. At the same time, requirements are constantly increasing: supply chains are becoming more complex, data volumes are growing and decisions need to be made faster and faster.

Digital solutions – especially in combination with SAP Business One as a central database – create clear and AI – create clear advantages here:
  • More transparency along the entire supply chain
  • More efficient processes through automation
  • Better basis for decision-making through structured and networked data
  • Use of AI for intelligent analysis and evaluation of purchasing data
  • Sustainable growth through optimized purchasing strategies

More than just a trade fair: Exchange at eye level

In addition to the presentations, it was above all the personal exchange that characterized the Make-To-Order Days. Discussions with visitors, partners and industry experts showed just how much interest there is in concrete solutions for digital procurement.

The event thus creates a practical framework for sharing experiences, gaining new impetus and discussing innovative approaches directly. For us at ANG, the event was an ideal opportunity to contribute our expertise, pick up on current trends and actively shape the dialog with the industry.
